Meet the experienced and friendly doctors and staff who make Atlanta Vision Studio a proud provider of vision care products and services in Alpharetta.


Eric Harris, O.D., F.A.A.O.

Dr. Harris opened Atlanta Vision Studio with the sole purpose of delivering exceptional eye care along with a comfortable and fun patient experience. Dr. Harris graduated from the University of Missouri with a BS in Biochemistry and Biotechnology in 2007. In 2011, he earned his Doctor of Optometry (OD) degree, also from the University of Missouri. In 2012 Dr. Harris completed an Ocular Disease residency at OMNI Eye Services here in Atlanta, Georgia. Following residency, Dr. Harris accepted a faculty optometrist position at both Emory University and Grady Memorial Hospital. He served on the ophthalmology faculty there until 2015.

Dr. Harris has been blessed to volunteer with several public health/non-profit organizations across Georgia, including the Special Olympics and the Georgia Lions Lighthouse. He was a guest radio speaker on V103’s “Hip-Hop Docs” week in 2015. Dr. Harris is a member of the American Optometric Association, Georgia Optometric Association, and is a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry, which is considered to be the most sought-after and prestigious honor in the profession of optometry.

Dr. Harris is a huge jazz enthusiast. He listens to classic jazz artists like Miles Davis and Bill Evans as well as newer artists like Robert Glasper Experiment/Trio and Snarky Puppy. He also enjoys running, cooking, introverting, eating baked treats, watching familiar movies, church, the LA Lakers, and traveling with his wife, Ashley and their son.
